The Story Behind Drill&Reveal

Hi, my name is Marcus, and I'm the founder of Drill&Reveal. Drill&Reveal was born from a moment of love, concern, and creativity. It all started when my sister had to stay in the hospital for over a month, caring for her infant son, who was born with health issues. During those long days and nights, she spent most of her time sitting, waiting, and worrying. I wanted to give her something—something to distract her mind, ease her stress, and bring a little joy to those difficult moments.

My wife is an avid diamond painter (some might say a hoarder!), but I had never paid much attention to the craft until I realized it was the perfect gift. It was engaging, calming, and creative—everything my sister needed. But I didn’t just want to buy her a kit. I wanted to create something with my own hands as a way to show how much I cared.

That’s when I hit a roadblock. Making a traditional diamond painting at home required expensive equipment, and I couldn’t find a way to do it myself. So, I got creative. I broke the design into smaller pieces, making it easier to craft and assemble like a puzzle. And just like that, Drill&Reveal was born—not just as a company, but as a way to share the joy of diamond painting in a unique and meaningful way.
