What is Diamond Painting?
If you’ve ever found yourself drawn to sparkly things, relaxing hobbies, or creative projects that leave you saying “Wow, I made that!”—then diamond painting might just be your new favorite pastime.

So... What Exactly Is Diamond Painting?
Diamond painting is a fun and surprisingly easy craft that combines the sparkle of rhinestones with the structure of paint-by-numbers and the satisfaction of mosaic art. Instead of brushes or thread, you use tiny resin “diamonds” to fill in a pre-printed canvas. Each diamond clicks into place, and with every row, your artwork comes to life—shimmering, dazzling, and totally handmade by you.
What’s in a Kit?
Every diamond painting kit from Drill&Reveal includes everything you need to get started:
- A sticky, coded canvas (like a color-by-number chart)
- Colorful resin drills (aka the diamonds)
- A diamond pen tool, wax pad, and tray
Using the tool, you pick up a diamond, match it to the corresponding symbol on the canvas, and place it down—one by one. It's incredibly satisfying and completely beginner-friendly.

Diamond painting has captured the hearts of thousands because:
- It’s relaxing and meditative
- You don’t need any artistic skills
- It offers a real sense of accomplishment
